Remembrance Day 14

Remembrance Sunday has been an important day for many years now. It is the closest Sunday to Armistice Day – the 11th day, of the 11th month. Never before had conflict been seen on such an immense scale.

Each year a parade is held on this day to remember the brave men who m

ECT Rescue Helicopter

Our cadets had the opportunity recently to look through the ECT Rescue helicopter.

They asked the pilot all sorts of questions, from “how did you get into aviation” to “how long have you been flying” – even “what sort of weather do you fly in”.

It’s always good seeing youth getting excited about something – and they sure enjoyed this opportunity.

Thanks ECT – you guys are awesome!

This exercise involved two and a half days of training time, covering everything from uniform maintenance to policy and code-of-conduct information.
